After the “Jingle Bells” and even before the “libiamo, ne' lieti calici” the “WINTER MEETING” program arrives right on time and as always the first curiosity: where this year?
The choice fell on Trentino Alto Adige with base camp in Bolzano at the FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON with an indoor pool, mamma li turchi bath and relaxation area.
A Saturday spent driving through hills and valleys, stopping for lunch at the rustic TORGGLKELLER SCHMUCKHOF tavern in the picturesque old town of CHIUSA, a medieval village with narrow streets and a typical South Tyrolean atmosphere. Despite its unpronounceable name, the restaurant surprises with its blend of Tyrolean culinary tradition and the Mediterranean sophistication of Italian cuisine.
A Sunday in the Cembra Valley, a wild valley steeped in history, with characteristic terraces that testify to the love and dedication of those who have cultivated fine grapes for years.

I see many of you already on the starting grid waiting for the green light, others still in the pits for final preparations, and still others unsure of what to do, but be careful: there is no safety car on the Winter Meeting track, and latecomers' only chance of participating will be the usual waiting list.
