Pre-war MGs at Cortanze Castle - International Gathering
The international gathering of pre-war MGs will take place from 28th to 30th July at Cortanza Castle.
The Mg Car Club d'Italia members who want to admire the pre-war Mg Triple M jewels,
They can attend the Saturday evening dinner and stay overnight at the Golf Club.
Dear friends,
From July 28th to July 30th, 2017, Urs and Sonia, in collaboration with the MG Club Luxembourg and Italy, will be organizing the first international pre-war MG meeting in Italy. MGs built between 1928 and 1936 of the triple M (Midget - Magna - Magnette) type (for example, the MG PA, PB, J2, F2, etc.) are eligible.
The gathering's base is Cortanze Castle, which some of you already know. The castle has been completely restored and features a swimming pool.www.castellodicortanze.com).For "foreign" members the meeting will start on Thursday while for Italian members it will start on Friday evening with a meeting at the Golf Feudo d'Asti (www.golffeudoasti.it)

Friday, July 28, 2017Crews arrive at the Feudo d'Asti golf course in the afternoon. Ample enclosed parking is available for carts.
I'm picking up my rooms.
Transfer with the MG to Cortanze Castle (10 minutes by car)
Dinner at the castle.
Saturday, July 29, 20179.00/9.30 am departure for Canelli, on the peripheral roads. Visit to Canelli and then lunch at Luigi's in Nizza Monferrato (www.lariservadelgusto.it) After lunch, return to the Golf / Castle along the narrow roads in the Monferrato hills.
Aperitif in the castle's infernotto (in shifts) and a tour of the castle for those interested.
Dinner.
Sunday, July 30, 2017No movement.
A day at the Castle with use of the pool. Lunch in the garden and return.
MG members who wish to see the Triple Ms can attend the Saturday night dinner.
(possibility of overnight stay at the Golf).
Cost: Gathering €600.00 per couple
Saturday dinner €70.00 per person
Overnight golf stay with buffet breakfast at the Castle €120.00 per couple.
