EVENT CONCLUDED

I can imagine the apprehension of many Winter MGs at celebrating without the WINTER MEETING 2022 program to fantasize about.

Here you are. You still have a few days of celebration to make up for it.

It will be a MEETING “ONE STEP FROM HEAVEN” both for the location and for the proximity to the filming locations of a television drama that has enchanted millions of viewers.

The new feature for 2022 is that the gathering will begin on Friday morning, and those with time to spare will be able to reach the hotel on Thursday.

The highlights of the program will be, in addition to the hotel chosen for the stay located in the village of GAIS (BZ) in the Ries-Aurina nature park, a visit to the museum dedicated to mountain photography in PLAN DE CORONES, reachable only by cable car.

Lake Anterselva, the third largest lake in South Tyrol, sits at 1,642 meters above sea level. A stunning body of crystal-clear water, nestled alongside the Puster Valley, at the bottom of the Anterselva Valley, nestled among 3,000-meter peaks that jut out into the clouds, and immersed in the lush greenery of forests and meadows.

TURES Castle in beautiful CAMPO TURES. It is one of the most beautiful and largest castles in the entire area. It's one of those places that will leave you breathless with its sheer beauty and majesty. Weather permitting, you can visit the Tures Waterfalls, which can be reached with an easy hike through pristine nature.

The cost, while adequate for the offering, is somewhat impacted by the visit to the Mountain Photography Museum, which requires a cable car, but it's well worth it. Furthermore, it's important to point out that, given the historic attendance of "Winterini" this event has enjoyed for years, the club's board felt it would be more appropriate to direct financial support to the recently introduced TUSCANY RAID.

With love and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

P. Paolo
