XXVIII MG WINTER MEETING 2019 - National Gathering

The XXVIII EDITION OF THE MG WINTER MEETING will take place from 15 to 17 MARCH.
EVENT CONCLUDED
Veneto Regional Center: WINTER MEETIG 2019.
I have the honor of presenting to you the 28th “WINTER MEETING” prelude to the work by Max Bottoli: “THE LITTLE MGs IN THE VIOLINS FOREST” (15-16-17 March 2019).
THE WINTER MEETIG 2019 RETURNS TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS IN THE WORLD: Alpine guide enthusiasts will be able to test their skills on Passo Rolle, San Pellegrino and Croce d'Aune, which have made the history of sports disciplines such as cycling, skiing and motor racing.
There will be no shortage of emotion and, unfortunately, sadness as we pass through the Canale d'Agordo and Cencenighe, seeing entire forests of Norway spruce trees literally felled by the fury of the storm, causing serious damage to the natural heritage and leaving wounds that will not heal quickly.
Norway spruce wood holds the ancient secret of master violin makers. Around 1700, Antonio Stradivari himself, obsessed with perfection, wandered the Panaveggio forest in search of the most suitable trees for building his violins. At the same time, a certain Antoine Lavoisier, a French chemist, wrote that "Nothing is created and nothing is destroyed, but everything is transformed."
Let us sincerely hope that he was right and that this unfortunate destruction will turn into something good as soon as possible.
Registration form and outline program attached.
This secretariat, having researched the matter, also attaches a photo of Max President, also obsessed with perfection, while he wanders through the spruce forest in search of a tree to make a chassis for the MGA that will make its engine sound like a violin....!!
