TWO PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS HAVE BEEN AWARDED TO US BY ASI

Not 1 but 2 prestigious awards have been given to us by ASI.

The first is the Golden CrankFor those who aren't familiar with this award, I'll quote exactly what I found on the internet: "It's the highest recognition awarded annually by the ASI to the best national and international historic vehicle events organized by the federated clubs." It was awarded to us for the gathering "MG by the Sea" last year's event, held in Calabria and Basilicata from September 6th to 14th. An international event that thrilled all participants with its views, beautiful roads, excellent cuisine, and prestigious locations—not to mention the festive atmosphere that pervaded the entire gathering. A special mention to the organizers: Lanfranco Nortano (Director Basilicata) and Roberto Vampo (Director Calabria) with the supervision of Gianni Tesauro (Director of Events) and obviously the President Massimo Bottoli.

The other prize is ASI Solidarity, a series of events with a strong social, solidarity, and inclusion focus. Kudos to our Regional Director for Lazio. Othello Orsini, which often organizes MG rallies in its region for charitable purposes in collaboration with local charities. The most famous is "MGs in a sea of inclusion"has reached its second edition this year, exactly next May 24th (programme not yet disclosed).

The awards ceremony will take place Saturday, March 7from 11.00 onwards, in conjunction with the classic car fair Automotoretrò which will be held in Parma at the exhibition center (Viale delle Esposizioni 393/a) on March 7th and 8th: therefore, if you plan to visit this show, plan to do so on the morning of Saturday, March 7th, so you can attend the awards ceremony and applaud our participants as they collect their prizes.

They are both prestigious awards for our club, which reward not only the organizers but all of us who participate in the rallies that are organized throughout the year in all regions: success is always a team result, a "very strong team"!
